Film's story Damini a traditional Indian girl who is happily married , witnesses a crime committed by her brother in law, the memory of this crime haunts her like a nightmare, she is torn between her conscious and her love for her husband and his family . Damini decide to follow her conscience and steps out of the family in the search for truth and justice for her maid. Amidst this struggle for justice and truth, Damini is sympathised by a down and out alcoholic lawyer , who helps her fight with the corrupt system and the tactics of corrupt high powered lawyers. Sunny Deo l uses high voltage metaphors that charges the film audience. Meenakshi Sheshadri was the film heroine but all credits went to Sunny who lifted the film to a glorious success.
